What is BS EN 1366?
BS EN 1366 is a multi-part family of fire resistance test standards for service installations. For ductwork projects it is often relevant to ventilation ducts, fire dampers, smoke extraction ducts and smoke control dampers.
This guidance is deliberately cautious. The right route depends on the system evidence, classification, duct dimensions, orientation, support arrangement, wall or floor construction, installation method and project specification.
